Garshana Gloves

Available across Europe.

A traditional raw silk glove for Garshana, the Ayurvedic dry massage done on dry skin without oil. Worn on the hand, the natural silk gives just enough texture to sweep firm, rhythmic strokes over the skin, gently exfoliating and waking the body before a bath or before Abhyanga, the warm oil self-massage.

How to use

On completely dry skin, with no oil, slip the glove onto your working hand and work from the feet upward toward the heart. Use long strokes along the arms and legs and circular strokes over the joints and the belly. Keep the pressure light and brisk for a few minutes, then bathe or follow with Abhyanga. Hand wash and air dry.
